Novel Nanomaterials, Quantum Transport, and Noise of Electrons and Photons

This conference and school will focus on rapidly growing topics and advances in mesoscopic physics and nanoscopic systems including:

* Counting stats and noise in electronic and photonic systems
* Mesoscopic quantum-optics in nanoscale systems
* Ultra-thin graphitic films
* Spin-dependent transport and SF structures
* Edge states and quantum-Hall systems

The event will be held at the conference centre of Lancaster University, UK. The scientific programme of the conference starts on January 8 (Sun) at 14:00 and finishes on January 11 (Wed) at 13:30.

The conference is preceeded by a EU RTNNANO School on Counting Statistics. School participants are encouraged to participate at the conference. There will be poster sessions for young participants, and the conference programme is closely related to the topics of the school.
